Providing life skills and occupational training for people with learning disabilities
At WORK Ltd, we believe a caring and supportive environment encourages our students to reach their full potential. We aim to provide opportunities for people with learning disabilities to develop life skills, build confidence and cultivate self-esteem.
Our hands-on work projects are available to adults aged sixteen years and over. Students can participate in a variety of activities including woodwork, gardening, textiles, arts & crafts, nature walks, sports, dance, music and drama. Our experienced team of staff and tutors deliver a varied and engaging programme of activities, with the end goal of creating a product that will go on sale in our cafe or online shop.

History
WORK Ltd began with just twelve students in 1995. From these humble beginnings it has now grown dramatically and serves over 78 students each week, with a dedicated team of staff tailoring support for each individual to meet their specific needs.
We operate as a small charitable organisation based in Sheffield. Our premises and services are sustained by public donations and the proceeds from our award winning cafe and unique gift shop along with our newly launched online shop.
The Hidden Gem Cafe
At the heart of our charity is the award winning Hidden Gem Café, our café offers a warm and friendly environment with a constantly evolving menu. Set back from Ringinglow Road it is the perfect spot for coffee and cake or something more substantial like our famous breakfast dishes, tasty light bites and delicious specials.
